Your Advocates for a Fair Settlement
Your property took years to build. When it’s seriously damaged, the insurance process should be the one thing that goes right. We built this firm specifically to make that happen. With over 50 years of combined experience inside the insurance industry, we know how claims are evaluated, where settlements fall short, and what it takes to recover what a policy actually provides.
Led by Two Insurance Industry Experts
Chris spent 23 years inside major insurance carriers, including several years in leadership roles managing complex claims. He knows exactly how those companies evaluate losses, where they look to reduce payouts, and what it takes to document a claim they can’t minimize.
He founded CFPA after seeing how often policyholders settled for far less than their policies provided. His goal was simple: give homeowners and business owners the same level of expertise their insurers bring to the table.
He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims Management (AIC-M), Property Claims Law Associate (PCLA), Senior Professional Public Adjuster (SPPA), and Certified Professional Public Adjuster (CPAU) designations.
Jo brings more than 25 years of experience in insurance carrier claims departments and, most recently, as a Claims Analyst at a top Los Angeles law firm. That legal background gives her a precise understanding of how policy language gets interpreted when a claim is disputed or the stakes are high.
She knows the tactics insurers use to limit or deny coverage, and she applies that knowledge to every case we take on. When we’re challenging an insurer’s decision, her perspective from inside the legal claims world is one of our sharpest advantages.
She holds the Fraud Claim Law Specialist (FCLS) designation.

Integrity
We tell you honestly what your claim is worth, what your options are, and what to expect. No inflated promises, no pressure, just clear guidance at every step.
Dedication
We’re personally involved in every claim from the first call to the final settlement. When you have a question, you’ll reach one of us directly.
Expertise
Between our two careers, we bring a depth of technical knowledge to each claim that most policyholders couldn’t access on their own, and wouldn’t know to ask for.
Compassion
We work to take as much of the stress off your shoulders as possible, keeping you informed, supported, and protected throughout a process that can feel overwhelming.
Proven Results for California Property Owners
Every result below comes from real claims we’ve personally worked.
Over 40,000 claims managed across our careers, including complex fire, water, and commercial losses. Multiple high-value settlements on residential and commercial properties throughout California, including cases involving total losses, long-term displacement, and disputed carrier decisions.
Those results come from having someone who knows the process working your side of the claim. We only take on cases we can manage personally and give each one the attention it deserves.

Community Commitment
Serving Homeowners and Business Owners Across Southern California
We’re based in Santa Clarita and serve property owners throughout Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and communities across California. We know the specific fire risks, weather patterns, and insurance market challenges that affect this region, from wildfire zones in the Santa Monica Mountains and Ventura County to water and storm claims in the San Fernando Valley and beyond.
We’re also active in the local business and Realtor community through the Santa Clarita Valley Association of Realtors and other professional organizations, and we’re available to speak with homeowners, businesses, and professionals who want a better understanding of their coverage and rights.
Our History
Chris founded CFPA after nearly 23 years working inside national insurance carriers. What he saw during that time shaped everything about how this firm operates. Policyholders were routinely settling for less than they were owed, not because their claims weren’t valid, but because they were navigating a complicated process without anyone in their corner.
In 2024, Jo joined the firm full-time, bringing her background in carrier claims departments and legal claims analysis. Her experience has been especially valuable on complex, disputed, and high-value cases.
Today, Chris Faber Public Adjusters serves homeowners, landlords, and businesses throughout Los Angeles, Ventura, and surrounding counties. Every client works directly with both of us.
